Affordability in the country is not at an all time high.
Because of an unchecked government, people cry.
Canada seems broken that you can be sure,
Due to mass spending and inflation hiking taxes beyond the door.
Even immigrants who left their country decades back are leaving.
Future seems bleak with no relief,
Getting a job seems a tough task and earning a living is bleak.
How long this will last the wise men do seek.
I wish I could ease people's pain,
Just throw their hurt and conquer the rain.
Keep in mind though nothing lasts forever,
Let's unite and do this together.
Mother Earth provides to those who ask for it,
Nobody is immune to heartbreak,
Only people who do not see behind the mask feel they are only ones who suffer.
People are torn apart every single day.
Quest for knowledge can never stop,
Remember how history repeats itself,
Surely inflation rates will lower.
Though the realization that currently we are so divided,
Underestimates the fact that wonderful things happen daily too,
Vows of unbreakable love and strength to pursue dreams.
Will we ever learn to focus on positives?
Xenophobia is at an all time high,
Yet we can stop this and unite.
Zeroing in on the problem is our might.

Everywhere the same problems. I hope soon everything will change.
Unfortunately, this is the sad bitter reality. Hoping that one day, it'll become better. My favourite line was history repeating itself. That's the ultimate truth. Loved your Abecedarian!
Sid, my opinion affordability is at an all time low! Fantastic Abrcedarian poem!!! Love it!!!💕❤️❤️
Wow, what a story this tells. Nowadays, running from one place to the next may not help. Hardship is everywhere. But we cannot give up, so we keep trying. Your poem flowed so well for this poetry form. Great work.
This poem reflects on the current state of affairs in Canada, addressing issues such as affordability, government policies, immigration, employment challenges, and social divisions. It acknowledges the struggles faced by individuals and the need for unity and positive action to address these challenges. The poem also highlights the importance of focusing on positives and working together to overcome obstacles. While it acknowledges the existence of problems like xenophobia and division, it ultimately calls for collective effort and determination to zero in on the issues and find solutions.
Troubled and hopeful, you nailed this one 👏
