Under Winter's Full Moon

My best attempt at a renga.

By Penning PenumbraPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

The flowers of Spring

fell around your hair when I

met you before class.

Back then, it was enough that

I loved you and you loved me.

The last thing she said was

“one day you will be a great

archaeologist.”

Yes, it hurts to remember,

but better than forgetting.

I have to admit I had to google a renga. Beautiful poem. I love the last two lines. It hurts to remember but better than forgetting. Nicely Done!!
