Your tears have stained my shoulder bare,
Yet I will hold you, always there.
In storms of sorrow, doubt, or strife,
You’ll find my love, your harbor life.
No shadow deep, no mountain tall,
Could make my love for you grow small.
Through darkest nights and brightest day,
Forevermore, with you I’ll stay.
For in your flaws, I see the grace,
That time and trials cannot erase.
Your heart, though bruised, beats strong and true—
And every beat belongs to you.
About the Creator
George Makori
I am a poet who finds inspiration in the quiet moments of life and the chaos in between. My words explore love, identity, and the intricate beauty of human emotions. Through my poetry, I aim to capture fleeting truths, weaving them.
