Long-Distance Love

The Ache of Miles Apart

By George MakoriPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

Across the miles, I feel your touch,

The space between can hurt so much.

But in my heart, you’re always near,

Your voice a song I long to hear.

Each sunset paints your silhouette,

A promise that we won’t forget.

Though oceans stretch and skies divide,

You’re with me still, my love, my guide.

And when the distance fades away,

We’ll cherish more each fleeting day.

For every mile, each aching tear,

Will make reunion sweeter, dear.
