As I sit still, uncertain where to go
The weight of the work before me feels so vast.
My heart knows what it seeks, yet progress is slow
And reminds me of the debts that hold me fast.
Each dollar is gone as quickly as it came,
Consumed by bills that hunger without end.
Yet, hope must rise to guide my weary days,
And focus must be my constant, faithful friend.
Discouragement could chain me to the ground,
And shadows whisper, tempting me to fall.
But as I refuse to heed that hollow sound,
I rise to meet my future’s call.
With light and love, my journey I embrace,
Good vibes, pure strength, and positivity’s grace.
About the Creator
Pamela Dirr
I like to write based on my personal experiences. It helps me clear my mind. We all go through things in life. Good things. Not so good things. My experiences might also help other people with things that they might be going through.
