I can SEE death now.
I can see it in the shadows of the sun
It's not scary or intimidating, it Just is.
I can see wisdom in the dead of night
So many experiences far and vast
holding lessons to the wise
I can see truth, hidden under the lies
Once upon a time told, carrying a weight that's about to break
Systematic Oppression, learning the truths in the greatest of life's lessons
How I got here I'll never understand, how I made it I'll never comprehend
It seems all they care about is our demise,
watching us fall as they rise
In truth, they are more miserable because
of all the lies
They pile up, over their hearts and minds,
till they're blind and souls sold out for
the agenda of propaganda
so much pain caused,
you have to ask yourself why?
Is it power? Is it fame? Is it the enjoyment
of a false claim?
They don't know who they are without
the power in the game. The riches
and their name
When they look in the mirror, all they
see is pain, more unto them then the
great deal they've caused.
the tracks run deep, instilling fear
into the weak
But then some, few and strong, find
the courage to carry on, the truth
they so desperately seek
to be awakened is to be aware,
I know you can't help but stare
curiosity has you feeling bare,
you tremble and continue to stare
Royalty's first purpose is to inspire
not to be your burning heart's desire
