In the depths of my soul, a pain so true,
Trust once broken, can never be new.
Hurt and betrayal, a heavy load,
Love once lost, can never be found.
Dishonest words, a wound so deep,
Ache and ache, in my heart, I weep.
For only you, can make me anew.
The ache of hurt, the betrayal of lies,
Can never heal, without your sweet surprise.
Love so pure, so true, so bright,
Can heal my heart, and make all right.
For the day, when you'll be here long.
When pain will fade, and love will shine,
And in your arms, I'll be divine.

Wonderful work here, sadness, heartbreak and betrayal. The pain of broken trust. I loved your poem.
