True Value

I want to share an answer to all going through personal struggles. An idea to do better and be better not because I am saying it but because it is a truth that must be taken into action.

It is the first time I take up the action

To put on some beats

And let the soul do the writing

I have daydreamed about

Just maybe doing some rapping

Some freestyling

And teach all the true meaning

Of doing something real

Something with heart

And value to all

For I am not here to discriminate

To point fingers

Or to even blame

I am here to share life,

Struggle, defeat, and progress

To open eyes and awaken

All those who can listen

Who can hear with understanding

That are ready to take action

To a better you

A better me

Through the spiraling journey

Of your true self

Your true purpose

For I don’t believe

That we are here for something small

I believe that it is up to us

To make this world a better place

To stand for what we believe in

To right so many wrongs

But so many wrongs

We allow to happen to

There is so much value in life

But we have learned to value

What is not true

Hence the emptiness

The loneliness

The depression and global anxiety

But there is meaning in your life

Your struggles don’t define you

Who you choose to be

What you choose to be

Defines you and designs you

Only you…

Only you have the power to decide

To believe outside of you.

To what diminishes you.

To what broke you.

Or to finally put a STOP

To the nonsense

And all that holds you back

And to focus

To put all your attention

To your self-worth

Your self-respect

Your true value

As a woman

As a man

As a human being

As part of this world

A being from this world

This is your home

This is your life

Don’t just let it slide

There is value in life

The value you choose to ignite
