When the Time is Right

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished about 19 hours ago 1 min read

Verse 1

Some walk in sunlight, certain of the way

Some move in shadows, learning as they pray

Some hear the whisper long before they understand

Some only feel it when life takes them by the hand

Pre‑Chorus

But every heart is turning in its own quiet time

Every soul is learning in a rhythm so divine

Chorus

So let them be, let them grow

Let the river take them where they’re meant to go

No one’s late and no one’s first in line

Every lesson rises when the time is right

When the time is right

Verse 2

Some speak in fire, some speak in rain

Some carry laughter, some carry pain

Some climb the mountain, some kneel on the floor

Some open slowly like a long‑forgotten door

Pre‑Chorus

And every path is holy though it winds and bends

Every step is sacred, even what we call the end

Chorus

So let them be, let them grow

Let the river take them where they’re meant to go

No one’s late and no one’s first in line

Every lesson rises when the time is right

When the time is right

Bridge

We are not the judges of another pilgrim’s pace

We are only witnesses to mercy, love, and grace

If you think you’re higher, you’ve forgotten where you’ve been

Every soul is carried by the same eternal wind

Final Chorus

So let us be, let us grow

Let the river take us where we’re meant to go

No one’s lost and no one’s out of sight

Every lesson rises when the time is right

When the time is right

If you want, I can reshape it into a darker Appalachian‑gothic tone, a gospel‑doom chant, or a more devotional hymn.
