a life filled with color
the full spectrum of emotion
i’m figuring myself out
amid all of this commotion
emerging from the darkness
is endless opportunity
black gives me the space
to find myself and my community
intrusive thoughts are red
this hatred in my head
i know i must get up
but i feel safer in my bed
orange is so tangy
a different kind of sweet
i’m spicy like a cheeto
so i hope you like the heat
yellow is an experience
a feeling of delight
showing my true colors
launched my healing into flight
green is abundance
always more than enough
a self-made masterpiece
a diamond in the rough
my truth is royal blue
i’m authentically me
i used to dim my light
but now, i feel so free
purple feels divine
to one source we are connected
when i trust my intuition
i know i am protected
white is the light
and i’m starting to see it
to make it through this tunnel
i know i must believe it
