Tried Again

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 2 months ago 1 min read

Verse 1

I’ve worn the weight of every fall

Heard the silence when no one called

Stood in the ruins of my plans

With nothing left but trembling hands

Pre-Chorus

But failure’s just a chapter, not the end

And hope is born where you begin again

Chorus

A winner’s just a loser who tried again

Who faced the storm and chose to stand

Who stitched their heart with threadbare faith

And walked back in through heaven’s gate

It’s not the crown, it’s how you mend

A winner’s just a loser who tried again

Verse 2

I’ve doubted every step I take

Felt the sting of each mistake

But grace don’t count the times you fall

It counts the times you gave your all

Bridge

So here’s to the ones who rise unseen

Who fight for dreams that others deem

Too broken, too far, too late to save

But still they try, still they stay brave

Final Chorus

A winner’s just a loser who tried again

Who found their strength in where they’ve been

Who turned regret into a flame

And lit the dark with their own name

It’s not the win, it’s how you begin

A winner’s just a loser who tried again
