Diamond

I found a diamond by coincident at Namibia Beach.

A minuscule diamond.

The moment I reached down -

The tide swept it away -

As it was too small.

I blamed that small diamond.

I blamed the tide.

The Shining Rock

Hiking with my friends in the mountains near Fukang.

Discovered an unusual rock buried under the soil.

Nervous to dig by myself, I asked my friends to join me.

A rock - shining more and more as we dug.

It was a meteorite. Meteorite.

I wanted to take it home, but it was beautiful as it was.

So we left it there - untouched.

Pearl Farm

I dug up oysters at the pearl farm in Australia.

To harvest pearls.

We harvested ceaselessly. Pearls - rough, but beautiful.

In order to sell them.

We had to sacrifice the oysters.

For our greed.

For human greed.
