to start and live
alone, without you
it's too hard, a grave
thing to do.
a period of tears,
a moment of sorrow.
no smiles; no cheers.
so, I will go
and mend the thing
that's been broken
I only ask you to bring
back what has been
my heart
before you went
the day we part.
repent,
accept and live on.
forgive and forget
what has been done
for a new day is set.
