Even in Darkness

Even in darkness the light will shine. It may take time, but eventually it will appear.

Even in darkness,

there’s light.

It hides behind

mountains

and dying trees.

It takes its time

to rise

but its presences

is known

as it wipes away

the darkness

From our eyes.

And when

that light rises,

and reaches

its zenith in the sky,

its rays

touches all below,

making

gray fields green,

making

muddy brown streams

sparkle.

Flowers open to

reveal

its pleasant

secrets

as its scent

Sweetens

the brisk and pale air.

Everywhere,

life is renewed.

and we

forget the darkness will

prevail.

Soon the light

will lose

Its grand luster

And the

sparks of life

it lit

will be no more.

But the

light will be there

if you

look hard enough,

Follow

its path across

the sky.

There, beyond the

darkness.

is the path

of light.

Find it.

Grab it.

Hold it.

For though light is

Everlasting .

So is

darkness.

But the light

will be

there waiting

for the

immortal embrace.

Of you.

Of me.

Of all

that is good.
