Torn From The Pages Of A Fairytale

Life

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

it's like ice

the contents of my heart

shaded in black, but filled in with red

I'm contrite

as I begin to embark

categorizing all the thoughts in my head

tattered are the corners

jagged the edge

torn from the pages of a fairytale

it's like ice

the contents of my heart

shaded in black, but filled in with red

Red ice, tasty. Black ice, dangerous. Yep, I think that sums up my impressions of your tasty, dangerous heart, my friend. Lol.
