Wonderful haiku, Bill <3 Cardinals are my favorite winter bird. They look so pretty on the evergreens in the snow.
The cardinal is the bird of Heaven and angels when you see a cardinal that is a visit from a family member or friend in a much better place. That is my belief. Good job.
This is the bird that wakes me up every morning . I have a lot of them where I live.
Lovely poem for a lovely bird. How beautiful the male Cardinals look in the snow. It’s incredible they don’t migrate. They must have good protective feathers for the winter.
They look so majestic to me for some reason. Loved your poem!
