I missed you today.
I missed you more than I have in a long time.
My heart ached for you the way it did that first night.
The first night I spent without you
After learning what a night with you felt like.
It felt like a half-healed wound having its stitches ripped out
It made my heart remember how much I loved you.
I've never loved someone as much as I loved you.
Love, present tense.
I doubt I ever will love anyone as much as I love you
Today I missed you more than I have in a long time.
Hopefully, tomorrow I won't.
