To the war on the inside of me

Somber

To the war on the inside of me

You begin, approaching are the impatient footsteps of the opposition

A gentle rumble, vibration so as to produce a sound?

A song?

Stand down.

Arrows to the ground,

Shields up shields down

An ear turned,

And she listens to the sound.

Arrows up, but she yells put them down

The sound, louder than it has ever been screams

Shields up, but she yells put them down

Intrigued that one could be both,

High

and

low

Here and there

inside

and

outside

Still

and the undulates.

yet sound

All shields down,

Arrows to the ground.

Safe. Still

That was until, you

The war on the inside of me,

Took off your armour and set it aside.

She was unrecognisable

An unknown.

The sound left and the silence came

A million eyes could see

She was deformed to the ones that stood behind her.

Stunned at the sight of what the sound had done

Here it was, the stand off.

Face to face with the opposition

Arrows up,

Shields up.

And you my friend, that is how you made your appearance.

The war on the inside of me,

The war that began for me,

You were the war that made me.
