A wonderfully magical piece. As always, bringing the fire with the form.
The breadth of your ability to write in different poetic forms is impressive. The breadth of your ability to write WELL in different poetic forms is stunning. Rhyming looks easy, but creating a poem that uses rhymes that build the tone and power of the poem that don't sound forced or artificial is harder than it looks and you do it really well. Again you close with a bang - "See the white hares running as they will" has an ethereal quality to it. In case you haven't noticed, I've been inspired by another Vocal writer to do deeper dives on writers I read on Vocal. Not just "one and done." I read several of her pieces and, reading more of yours, I have to say, it's a great idea. I see your versatility, scope and talent more clearly now.
Simple, magical, and so well written! thank you for sharing your eighty-sixth inspiration with us, Mike... the "horse of gold" part was top-tier. Honestly such a vibe! πβ€οΈ

I hate it when that happens. It leaves me shaking my head at myself, lol.
Lol, all you had to do was reboot the modem. So glad the password reset worked for your Filezilla!
