Night air, love in the middle

Of a cold pool

It’s cool and dark and we’re so stormy

Look up at that sliver of green patch,

It’s highlighting your milky mirrors

The looks that she gives us, are we waiting for her to hide behind the mist?

La Luna, you grill us as we swim in darkness

You taste our smoky and textured

Fire.

We saw the shivering lump of cold black water: Mississippi dreamers

It’s rolling and whistling

Like a brand new train

It carried us into a single sliver of green heaven

And we knew we were alright.
