Robins vibrant feathery missives

intrigue twigged nest

teal robin eggs

Meadowlarks

Barn Swallows

chirping melodies carried in the nippy breeze

buzzing translucent wings dancing in the sky

moths

bees

graceful dragonflies

a tug and pull tango between seasons, to see who will take the lead

daylight hours illuminating the sky for longer days

happier moods

burst of pent up energy

darkness soaked up from the coming blossoms

tiny buds

earthy mud

brisk rains wiping away remains of tired snow

deep lavender crocuses fighting to stand tall

delicate daisies

lemon daffodils

rebirth fully in sight

welcoming arms of children embracing the coming spring

Watching the seasons change in all the possible ways.

  • "A tug and pull tango between seasons". That was my favourite line! Loved your beautiful poem!

  • Do I sense that, as with Mother Combs, you are ready for spring?
