Time Of The Season

For Love

Lemon grass and lavender

Queen Anne’s lace and borrowed pearls

Mother nature’s open door

To watch the saccharinum twirl.

Tis a lovely lover’s season

When the heart goes out to play

Giving butterflies and goosebumps and her secrets, all away.

The soft breeze blows through the tall sweet grass

Sings a tune to fall in love

The willows and your guard bends

Underneath the stars above.

Sweet surrender sure comes easy

When the moon is on the rise

The way the wind is teasing

Sweeping starlight from your eyes

Best beware her wiles and fancy

Lest she captures your heart too

For you will not stand a chance

If she comes to enchant you.

    Lovely absolutely lovely!!!♥️♥️💕

  • Omggg, this was so wonderful !

  • Mother Nature sure is enchanting & more than capable of sweeping me away. The only thing better would be to be in the presence of one whose mere existence in my life causes all Mother's beauty & wonder to fade into the background. (Or is it that to which you refer, lol?) One question: did you mean "saccharinum" or "saccharum"? I could not find "saccharinum" in a Google search, only "saccharin" (yech) & saccharum (tall, reed-like grasses)
