I load up the washing machine,

Now the kids are arguing,

I make the beds,

While they make more mess,

One of them is fighting,

Another one is crying,

They think

"Hey okay; We'll just run to Mum!"

Homework never gets finished,

Though these kids know they'll

be punished.

Bedtime comes around,

By midnight, they're not sleeping sound!

So I take a deep breath,

Before I lose my head;

But these kids are now wailing,

'Oh! The joys of parenting!"

And I love them with all my heart,

Though one day we will part,

"They will grow up soon."

I tell the moon.

So while time never stops,

Enjoy these little pops,

They won't be kids forever,

So be a family together.
