Time For Change

Superiority is your downfall, your arrogance,

Belittling those that support you for the best,

Pushing them away, stripping them of respect,

Making them feel unworthy, while destroying the rest.

Your words cannot be unsaid,

The damage was already done,

There’s no come back, no waste of time,

Not after the attitude you have spun.

***

What comes, never lasts,

Remember that on your way down the rung,

Your creativeness is not up to scratch,

If you’ll pardon the pun.

***

Kindness, positivity, friendship,

Would serve you better in the long run,

Walk away from this self made carnage,

As the damage has been done.

***

Moving forward acknowledge alternative possibilities,

A change in tone, empathy and understanding,

Success can be easy to achieve,

Without the sordid demanding.

***

Tempers flare in misunderstanding,

Then never totally cool,

Causing the loss in possibilities,

Compromising instead of hard words being cruel.

***

I’m sure you’ll eventually be forgiven,

We all make foolish mistakes,

But your future attitude will be the deciding factor,

In any future decisions they now make.
