Time for a Change

Requiem for a Cock

By Dan GeorgePublished 6 years ago 1 min read

A feminist who hated women

A soldier who never fought

For one who hated labels

You applied an awful lot

You’ve traded your beard for lipstick

A harsh tone for a soft one

But the meaning’s still the same

And I told you how I felt

PTSD BPD CBT ASD

Woe be me

A child who never grew up

Whose demons faced him down

Hiding in a darkened corner

In the playroom of your soul

Won’t mother call you down?

The real self, all touchy-feely

No fist-bumps or social media BS bro

It’s time for a change really

Reality needn’t be consensual

But you were never menstrual
