Time Flies

Midday work struggle can’t wait to get home soon, I heard song on the radio and saw your picture at the same time and heard my heart go boom!

Time could fly fast enough because I wanted to be in close proximity as the day was scared to reach noon, time was so slow I saw tumble weeds rolling into the next room!

Then thought came by and said let me speed this day up and my thoughts started to bloom! I had my thoughts on you and time started to rush right on by! My only thoughts from the day I laid eyes on you were to be your only guy!

I lost my writing groove when my work load increased! Still think you’re the finest woman outdoors to say the least!

Time flies fast when I think of you, but not fast enough when the hours of the day turn to minutes and there is no way quicker to feel you next to me, without you I’m blu!

Dreaming about you could take the entire day away! That’s quite ok as long as you stay! As long as there time with you, then nothing else matters. All the others received the same effort and energy with an open heart! However, they turned away and thought I wasn’t authentic, but as a man, I did my part!

What would I say to you if I saw you walking down the grocery aisle? Might get caught on my own words and just start to smile! Similar to a kid in the candy store, but after seeing, I wouldn’t want anymore!

I hope this dream never ends because the time can continue to fly by! Somehow there is chance that you and I can go far beyond the skies!

So give me this one chance and let me receive my gift! When I first saw you, to describe my heart, would be more than a common lift!

Let’s go to a place where nothing matters and everything is centered around us! Don’t mean to be a fuss, but you got next to me in so many ways! Can I hold your hand for the rest of my days?

Now that I have this chance to truly express myself without fearing that my vulnerability will be taken advantage of, we can let our love be something special and have our hearts fit each other and tailored like a fitted glove!

Yes, no one and nothing else matters! This dreamy mind of mind often spends a bunch of time on you! When it’s storming outside and the clouds are dark, I tend to focus on doing something new that involves being with you!

We can talk it over and hash out the terms over a piece of cheesecake! I can give you my best words and you can bet the effort will match for goodness sake!

We listen to music and watch the stars and moon hang with little effort as they grift along! Then we can gently kiss from song to song! It doesn’t matter how the time flies being with you!

Or, we can get in the car and drive to the next city and catch a late night coffee spot! Again, I really doesn’t matter with you! As the time flies, dreaming is something that I would not fail to do!
