Till The Release Of Time
I will
I will tread the challenge of the day
Till the release of time
I will cling to every passing rhymes
Till the release of time
I will hold true to promises made
Till the release of time
I will bring shelter, sun, wind and shade
Till the release of time
I will help my fellow man
Till the release of time
I will help another stand
Till the release of time
I will hold fast on shifting sands
Till the release of time
I will be a helping hand
Till the release of time
I will wear my heart on my sleeve
Till the release of time
I will give a piece of me
Till the release of time
And when the time comes I can no longer - will
And I don't have the strength, another to fill
When the end of my life has begun to draw near
When the reasons to stand, are no longer clear
Then - I hope that I gave what was required of me
And the ones that I helped are flourishing and free
I will wait for the day when together we'll be
At the edge of the release of time.

Brilliant & beautiful!!!💖💖💕
How beautiful, Kelli!
A stirring anthem for a life of courage and compassion. Appreciate your spirit, Kelli!
This is a wonderful creed by which to guide & live your life. As I was reading it, I found myself wondering, And whenever you or I should fail at this, will we be able to forgive Till the release of time? That's the part with which I struggle, not forgiving you, but forgiving myself. I beat myself up pretty badly & a whole lot. I try to accept that there are mistakes I cannot unmake, but each time I mess up I feel as though I've let everyone down again. I pray you are more kind & gentle with yourself. This is a beautiful creed, aspiration & poem. I look forward to meeting you, "at the edge of the release of time."
