Nature always wins

Earth is roughly 4.5 billions years old, and the amount of trauma the planet has gone through,

Every time Earth pulls through.

How incredible is it that a rock in space can take hit after hit and at the end heals itself.

In movies we see different versions of man vs nature and nature seems to always win. Every single time.

What does that mean in real life: does that mean that at any moment Nature could just take out humanity as we know it?

OR

Has it already and man kind has evolved enough to understand how earth works to keep up with what it throws?

History seems to repeat itself time and time again,

Proving that Nature wins. Every. Single. Time.
