Tied Together

A cord of Love left uncut

Soul tethered to mine,

coasts apart but still entwined

If I can feel you —

I know you feel me too

You have family

while I have this body

I tried to get rid of,

but learned to love

Three years I’ve felt you,

one thing’s true —

If you were here now

you would tell me

to get up and move —

And live

One day, when I see you again,

maybe in the next life or this,

I will embrace you

the way I should have

And our souls can dance

like the planets —

Under oblivion
