Thwarted Truth

Congressional Shame

By Andrea Corwin Published about a year ago 1 min read

Give us peace, civility and truth

**

They want the gates shut when one leaves; top leaders protest revealing investigation results

perhaps the victim was sixteen years old mistaken for seventeen

is that substance to the denial? nay, not substance - rather, sociopathic justification of lies

hiding behind lies to thwart the truth

By Jon Tyson on Unsplash

others protect the pervert, not the child

Perverts walk the hallowed halls and sit in public seats, elected, given their seat again despite complaints

chase the clowns

give us peace, civility and truth

kicking the can down the road is foolish and childish, lazy and cowardly

Show the findings in the open and when they swing closed, lock out the gates Gaetz

Again, it's absolutely amazing that we even have to discuss this stuff. Lock the Gaetz indeed!

Nearly puked when I saw the pic, so that should tell you how I feel about that POS. Love your poem. Say it louder!

  • This literally made my skin crawl. Cleverly and beautifully written, sickening nonetheless 💜

I just don't get it. I'm with D.J. Nothing good can come of this.

  • It's just so absurd and heartbreaking!

The tangerine tyrant is assembling a rogue's gallery around himself. A bad moon is rising.

The law, in many nations, tends to work this way-giving voice to the criminal, not the victim.

Interesting and it is funny how the criminal system works that way. The victim is more criminal than the criminal. That is how I see this article. Good work.
