A story of colour and pride.

Through these eyes
What I see
There’s no one like you
No one like me
Whatever colour
Whatever race
Can’t know the story
By simply my face
How I look, who I love
That’s my source of pride
It’s uniquely me
It’s my soul, it’s inside
No matter the cover
Brown, black, or white
Content of character
Is the story we’ll write
For true colour, true beauty
If you really look
What’s on the pages
Is what makes the book
So, see what you will
When judging each other
All that I ask
See past the cover
See what I see
My point of view
There’s no one like me
And no one like you
Through these eyes
If you could just see
The beauty of you
The beauty of me
