My Secret Garden
Grown in an concrete jungle
Your gate left open
***
Like ivy you thrive
Just as long as you can climb
I’ll tend to your roots

Delightful… I love your haikuplet… I like how they allow more detail than single haikus.
Love the thought of a garden thriving in a concrete jungle - this was fab.
This poem is hard to pin down. Loving, sensuous, intimate and a little mystical. I love how the pic complements with the lovely ivy bower. Well done, DK!
Your title reminded me of these lines from Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift: "And I snuck in through the garden gate Every night that summer, just to seal my fate (oh)" Loved your poem so much!
So simple and lovely!
ah this is very romantic but not wishywashy, more intimate. definitely agree with Shaun! even when you have but a few words to play with, you are exceptional!
Very loving and sensual in its way. Well done!
