Instead of meditating I'm hyperventilating

Don't see this side of me

I can't sit when the world is walking all over me

Rebels or renegades are not the same and

Colour don't mean a thing

Lifting our heads far and wide we all sit up and sing

We don't know money and don't owe a thing

We're all in the middle baby

With every tarot held close to my chest

We never lose in times that are the best

No pawns know ancient treasures

Or forget-me-nots rolled into one

Maybe I can fight and maybe I can't

And I don't know the words to every song

Taint my indifference and I have to get along

Amnesty is amnesty and I'm singing that

And only that song

That's stigmata still in my hand

No one wants to take that from me

They owe me

Oh baby I don't want you to see this side of me

Toiled not soiled, you're the best thing that ever happened to me

Rebels and renegades sometimes share the same harmony

Peace be with you, peace be with me

I know God's never gonna judge me

For grasping despair

I just look up and breathe casting the feeling into the air
