What you see is what you get, no heirs or graces it’s me.
This Is Me Marie381Uk
No heirs, no crowns, no velvet lie,
I walk beneath a plain blue sky.
No mask to wear, no part to play,
I show up real, come what may.
I don’t fit boxes built by men,
I’ve broken rules and laughed again.
No borrowed light, no need to bend,
I’m woman first, not here to blend.
Pink fits me fine—it doesn’t hide,
The softness that I wear with pride.
But don’t mistake it for retreat,
There’s fire still burning at my feet.
So judge me, love me, look or pass,
I won’t shrink down to suit your glass.
I fill the space, I claim my name,
With every flaw, I love the same.
You’ll find no script, no practiced plea,
No polished lie—I’m simply me.
And if that’s too much—turn away.
I’ll keep on shining anyway.

I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. He looked so happy as he said, "Yes!"
