This dream

Just won’t fade.

When you wake up, and you remember what you were dreaming about.

But as the day goes on, it fades,

Until you can’t really remember it anymore.

This dream won’t fade.

The colours have darkened,

But it is fixed in my brain.

Moments from the past pop up,

Old memories.

That once were fun and bright,

Now have changed.

They slowly turn blue,

And a smile, a spark inside,

Loses its shine.

Your face.

I see it everywhere.

And I’m not sure what’s real or not anymore.

I’m stuck in a dream, that just won’t go away.

This dream just won’t fade.
