THESE LESSONS LEARNED

Some days I know it can get a little hard to believe,

In certain things,

A lot of things are a mystery.

This life will use your fears against you,

Make you sacrifice things that you don’t wanna lose,

Peace of mind, time, having time and freedom to choose,

Our mental health isn’t as bad as it seem you just gotta make it work for you,

Some people abuse your mental health then use their success with it to be abuse you.

Spiritual things don’t sleep be vigilant,

Some things will make you addicted to the substance,

Not learning how to heal just numb it but how do you cure numbness?

Feelings.

There’s nothing wrong with needing a hand,

We are all vessels in accordance to Our father’s plan,

It’s okay if we get off on the wrong path,

The enemy’s job is to do exactly that.

Turn you away from what brings you peace,

Turns us into drug and relationship fiends,

Try to steer you off & perverse all of your dreams,

You gotta know how to stand on what you believe in.

It’s easy to turn around but you gotta commit to going forward,

This life is testing you to see what you’ll run from,

These spirits you can’t see but they’ll take shape in human form,

To test your boundaries to see what they can get away with.

We all can got different sides to us we just don’t have to shape shift,

But your intentions will make you switch up who you hang with,

Stick with the wrong people you’ll dig yourself into a ditch,

By yourself is when you wonder “who am I really hanging with?”

Don’t be scared of your race,

Fear will come in and keep you frozen in place,

Making you think the goal is something you can’t face,

But we were saved by he who died and gave us all his grace,

It takes a step to run and it’s beyond a trophy that’s up for us at stake.

The comfort zone takes the shape of our flesh,

You won’t do no more but you can find some ways to give & do less,

Don’t just take advice and not use it that’s the enemy’s plan,

To keep you his fan.

To keep him cool,

Using you like a fool,

Cause he know that you were born with all of the tools,

But he uses fear and comfort against you,

He can’t do nothing without you so he becomes sticky like glue,

But you can let him go if you choose to.

Sometimes it’s a harder to do,

But you stand up for you.

I’ve been learning these lessons,

It took a lot of time but I was given back my essence,

Lost in the world wasn’t trying to find any direction,

Until I was all alone unhappy with my reflection,

Class immediately came into session,

It was self reflection.

The biggest discoveries lie within the mystery,

It’s alright if you stumble and fall it’s in all of our history,

But you don’t have to let perfectionism turn it into your misery,

Today is the first new day 1 of 1 you’re experiencing.

There’s room for a lot of first tries,

Mistakes and do overs are apart of the ride,

You can’t get better if you don’t try,

The feelings you have you don’t have to hide.

Life lessons are my favorite,

If you’re given the chance you should take it,

Just make sure you contemplate it,

You ain’t gotta rush into it be patient.

Self discovery is also discernment,

Good judgement makes living life more worth it,

You dissect life and own it,

The purpose and joy will always be overflowing

You’re free.
