There Is More To Us
Than What Our Enemies Think.

As the tears stream down our faces,
And the bruises hurt from the onslaught,
As our minds hurt from the names we
have been called,
And the voices in our heads,
Make us feel worthless,
We will get up and shine again,
Brighter than the stars,
Louder than the thunder,
Together;
We will carry the rainbow to the skies
After the rain,
We will make peace with the pain,
We will rise above them,
Become stronger than a tree;
We will light up the world,
As we dance to the music,
And show them who we are,
One voice, One us; Our authentic voice.
Together we will stand;
There is more to us,
Than what our enemies think.
