It's this point for which I strive:

***

Anger won't make me see red,

and an outsider won't have the rights

to shift my heart to something wrong

ans blind me from fighting fights.

***

Where death won't make me go all ghostly,

and rainbows won't lower jaw;

Where pain won't conquer my wisps of hope,

and music won't resee things I saw.

***

Where I won't place myself in life,

but life will impress around me;

Where choices won't trigger a million thoughts

but rather guide me timidly.

***

Where my soul will not search for me,

but I will seek its light;

Where emotions won't lead me in my path

but only inform me of my plight.

***

Where I will call my mind my own,

and my traits will be known to me;

Where the beat of my heart will soothe itself,

and then I will learn to be.
