Vanity is thy name, stupidity thy game

O' soulless and talentless one

Cancerous, plagiaristic, liars

Agonizing on what best to camouflage as your own

Lost, you are, in the primordial vastness of the written word.

This is for D.K. Shepard' Vocal Acrostic Challenge'

I would like to thank Vocal for listening to the creators on this platform and working to rid us of scammers and plagiarizers as best they can. Never an easy job with today's Ai and lazy people. Unfortunately, we still notice the use of this method on Vocal, where the plagiarists think they are clever by rewriting an Ai generated piece. We know who you are, if not now, we will soon.

This AI business is exhausting. Great work calling nonwriters out for their sin against art. Congrats on honorable mention!

  • Excellent acrostic and well deserved Honourable Mention. It’s so bewildering why people don’t bother to write/attempt to write their own stories/poems.

  • Great and amazing

  • Bold and powerful. This is an issue that has plagued Vocal And other similar platforms for a while now. OK buddy

You got my blood boiling with this one! It just keeps escalating with both outright audacity and enhanced sneakiness! This is very well done!

That was awesome, J! And that final image is satisfying. How can anyone live with themselves existing in a fake bubble? Not going to be too fun when it burst.

A fierce reminder: protect your unique voice.

Well-wrought, Jason! I was just reading a commentary from Confucius where he states that words cannot reveal truth, but only point to it. This is true also in the case of the plagiarists, who must inevitably undo themselves!

  • These plagiarists are the worst! There was one guy, who stole my story and published it word for word. When I confronted him, he ran it through AI to reword it and had the audacity to tell me that he's changed it. Like bro, it's still my story. Jeez!

  • And so may they ever be.

The Hooded Man entity seems to be lurking behind this man. Shadow person. Sleep paralysis. I have a long article on this called "Night Hag."

Love your poem - and the title too. Fab.

Plagiarists, I wonder whose circle of hell they would steal? Great job!

Jason, I loved the fire and passion behind this one! Nailed it!

Excellent, JBaz! Have that, plagiarists! This is how to write!

Is it wrong, I wonder, to have felt just a smidgen of delight- for only a moment, mind you- that plagiarists would be burned (figuratively, I am sure) by the heat of burning stolen words? Perhaps.

    A great entry and sentiment!
