The Witch's Promise
The Witch of The North Has Returned
This poem is unusual because I name and link to the subject. If anyone I write about wants to come out as a subject , let me know and I will link you to my words. Sophia is a great friend and we almost played in a band together once but things didn’t gel. She sang, I played bass with a guitarist , saxophonist, drums and three singers.
She is an incredibly talented tattooist with her own business “Witch of the North Tattoos” , and if I ever have a tattoo she will be my go to.

You pierce my skin, to show my soul
Your needles can free my spirit
Your ink takes me past my limit
My skin is your canvas, white now
🖤
But your hand pokes release the art
Devils, Cute creatures side by side
On my flesh they will now reside
I was a blank canvas , unmarked
🖤
Sting my skin and colour me in
Discard my boring blank whiteness
Give me your colour and fine lines
Witching fingers draw with finesse
The Witches Promise will come true
The Witch has Returned just for you

Golden Hair
