The Windy Day

~Adele Penna c2021

It has been windy today.

My hair is blowing affray.

Despite all my tries,

and many hair ties,

along with despise,

and just a few cries,

to my own demise,

it remains in my eyes.

It has been windy today.

I almost got blown away.

Of course, I couldn't see at all,

as I landed my fall,

with all my hair in my face,

Because it won't stay in place.

It has been windy today.
