The Wheel of the Year

Quadru-Haiku entry 2

By Ash TaylorPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

Spring brings heavy rain.

Great floods turn the wide green plains

Into deep blue lakes

-

Summer is deadly

Hot weather brings bush-fires

Renewing the land

-

Leaves fade to gold in

Autumn with its rich soil and

heady earthen scents

-

Now winter, the air

Grows crisp and chills to the bone,

Cold fingers biting.
