The Weight Of Guilt

acrostic poem: GUILT

Gave into the wild siren’s call.

Underestimated the jagged ripples tearing at my flesh.

Initially, echoed wisdom was drowned by seduction.

Letting go was never an option.

Torture must be faced before I pull away.

Not sure if this is the right word, but after reading this poem 'incriminating' was the word that came to mind. Good work and made me think.

That is true the last line, especially someone who really love and want to give the other a chance to change
