The fading evening, my thoughts, and I,
Your memory lingers, and I.
Who, where, how, and why,
A few tangled questions, and I.

The scent of moments gone by,
A web of colors, and I.
Dreams of vows, and you,
The cruel passage of time, and I.

Who will untangle
The knots in my hair, and I?
Still searching for you today,
In every beat, every pulse, and I.

Summary:

The poem reflects the speaker’s deep sense of longing and confusion as they navigate the fading memories of a past love. The evening dims, symbolizing the passing of time, and the speaker is left with questions that have no answers. They feel lost in the fragrance of old moments, caught in a web of emotions and memories. Despite the passage of time, the speaker continues to hold onto dreams of loyalty and promises once made. They wonder who will help untangle the mess of feelings and thoughts that have grown more complex with time. Still, the search for the lost love continues, with each heartbeat and breath, as if they’re trying to find the pieces of themselves that were left behind.
