The Walk Where I Heard Everything
for people, who didn’t say a word but received the world

I didn’t need to be seen today.
Didn’t need a like,
a text,
a man,
a mirror.
I just walked.
And for the first time,
the world felt loud
without saying a thing.
The bees were working.
The ladybugs were flying.
The flowers didn’t need applause.
The wind knew my name.
And God said:
“Stop repeating what you already prayed for.
Just listen.
I’m answering.”
So I listened.
To gospel that didn’t hype me—
but held me.
To a voice inside that said,
“Don’t call them friends. They never were.”
To my mother’s voice
mirroring mine
without even knowing.
She said,
“I never drank, or smoked, or chased attention.
But I always drew people who did.”
And I realized—
So did I.
And maybe I wasn't broken.
Maybe I was light
they didn’t know how to hold.
I wanted to cry,
but I didn’t.
I just let the truth
curl up beside me
like a warm old blanket.
I remembered a boy named Paul
and a boy named Simon.
The only friends who didn’t ask me to shrink.
And I smiled—because two was enough
to remind me I am lovable.
I didn’t post today.
Didn’t chase a job.
Didn’t manifest out loud.
I just walked.
And God answered
everything
I was too tired to ask.

The Soft Witness
I write from the quiet places — between heartbreak and healing, between the ache of becoming and the breath of being. This is where I leave the fragments of my past. I don’t write to be seen. I write to remember I’m real.

This piece really resonated with me. There's something powerful about just walking and being present in the world around you. It makes you notice the little things like the bees and ladybugs. I've had similar moments where I realized I don't need to constantly seek validation. It makes you wonder, how often do we miss these insights because we're too busy chasing after other things?
