Amidst the twilight's hallowed veil,
Where words do falter, efforts fail,
Lies The Unspeakable, a realm untold,
Where emotions soar, yet words withhold.
A tapestry of feelings profound,
Where silence weaves its sacred ground,
In saudade's grasp, we find our way,
Longing for stars that fade away.
With yūgen's grace, we're lost in awe,
A beauty deep, without a flaw,
In nature's arms, we stand in trance,
Where whispers hum and spirits dance.
Mysteries bloom, in shadows gleam,
Beyond the realm of logic's dream,
A sacred space, where spirits soar,
In silence found, forevermore.
In The Unspeakable, hearts unite,
Beneath the canvas of the night,
Through wordless love, souls intertwine,
In silence, truth and peace align.
So let us seek, with souls unbound,
The depth within The Unspeakable found,
Embrace the silence, let it be,
The language of eternity.

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." – Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
