The Tree's Transition

Ever-changing nature

In the Spring, the tree is covered with blossoms of soft pink,

From its pollen and nectar, the bees will eat and drink;

Looking like the evening clouds as the sun begins to sink.

In the Summer, the tree is covered with leaves of vivid green,

From its ripened fruit, the chirping birds will feed as they convene,

And the south wind rustling through its leaves sounds like a tambourine.

In the Fall, the tree is covered with leaves of orange and red,

When its leaves fall to the ground, the worms will come up to be fed,

As their various vibrant colors adorn the soil bed.

In the winter, the tree is covered with luminescent white snow,

Its branches will go to sleep while its roots go on to grow;

Ever in a state of transition since centuries ago.
