The Sound of Silence in His Presence
Silent Prayer
By Evelyn FitchPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Silent Prayer
In the stillness, where whispers cease,
A sacred hush brings perfect peace.
No voice, no cry, no rushing wind,
Yet love eternal speaks within.
The weight of burdens softly falls,
Beneath the hush, His mercy calls.
No need for words, no need for sound,
For in His silence, grace is found.
A quiet flame, it warms the night,
Dispelling fear with holy light.
Each heartbeat echoes heaven's song,
In silence, I’ve been loved all along.
The chaos fades, the shadows part,
As stillness cradles weary heart.
I need no proof, no grand display,
His presence fills the void today.
In silence vast, His truth I hear,
A love that draws me ever near.
No sound, no cry, no need to speak,
For in His presence, all I seek.
