The Sorrow of Your Loss (Part Two)

Delving deeper into the echoes of love, grief, and unyielding longing.

A continuation of the poignant journey from

Whispers of a Broken Heart By Khadija

A Journey Through Shadows of Loss

In the quiet stillness, I search for your trace,

But find only echoes, an empty space.

The days stretch long, a never-ending night,

Where shadows of you haunt the fading light.

I reach for your warmth, but it slips through my hand,

Like grains of sand scattered by the wind’s command.

Your laughter, once a melody, now a silent song,

The music of love, now lost, gone wrong.

I cradle the memories, but they slip and break,

Each one a shard, a wound I can’t forsake.

In the corners of dreams, I see you still,

A ghost of the past that time cannot kill.

I linger on the edge of a world so cold,

Clutching the love that I can’t let go.

I wish for one more moment, one more chance,

To feel your touch in a fleeting dance.

But all I have left is the grief we made,

A love once alive, now a memory that fades.

And so, I walk, heart heavy with the cost,

In the sorrow of your loss, I am forever lost.
