Such a lovely way to ground us to the sound of the lark, how it lifts our eyes in appreciation; how delicate but yet so captivating like the women in the image or the person in our hearts. Absolutely outstanding 👌🏽👏🏽
Such a contrast with fragile beauty and the undeniable strength of that young woman wielding a sickle...outstanding presentation that blends so deliciously
So lovely and lingering in its beauty, John. Well done.
Well-wrought, John! I love how the haiku illuminates the painting, and what a clever way for the artist to represent the beauty of the lark's song by depicting the wonder in the face of the listener! She toils in the field with the sickle, but it gives me heart to know that during her day of drudgery she finds a moment of serenity. I often find these moments myself, and usually also in the sky.
Great art piece that complements your words but skylarks? They are beautiful.
Brilliant pairing of imagery and Haiku John.
